Slow Seasons: A yearly guide to deepening your connections to nature's rhythms

Slow Seasons is a beautiful illustrated guide to noticing. Think of it as one part calendar, one part journal, one part guidebook and one part meditation. In sections for each of four seasons, four quarter-days, and 32 micro seasons, we invite you to notice the seasonal shifts in the natural world and how you also experience these shifts in your own mental, spiritual and physical self.

This project was created as a collaboration with my business partner, Kate Schoknecht. Throughout our working relationship, we felt called to create a tool for aligning our lives more intentionally with the seasons. So together, we ideated this project, built a framework for it and brought it to life.

She composted our ideas into beautiful prose and I designed it into a printed guidebook. She illustrated the wheel of the year using pen and watercolors and I illustrated the headlines of the seasons.
